Welcome to Gallery: Photo & Video (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please delete the App and do not use our services.
1. Description of Service
Gallery: Photo & Video is a utility application designed to help you view, organize, and manage media files (photos and videos) stored on your Android device. In addition to local file management and image editing features (such as cropping and filtering), the App provides customized notifications and contextual media screens (such as an after-call media display) supported by third-party advertisements.
2. License to Use
We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a compatible Android device that you own or control.
3. Permissions and Device Access
To provide its full range of features, the App requires specific system permissions. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the following device interactions:
Storage Access: The App reads and modifies your local media files to allow you to organize, edit, and delete them.
System Overlays and Call States: To provide contextual features (such as displaying a media screen immediately after a phone call), the App requires permissions to read your phone state and draw interfaces over other applications.
Notifications: The App may run in the background on device boot and send push notifications or vibration alerts regarding app features, updates, or background processes.
4. Third-Party Services and Advertising
Gallery: Photo & Video is an ad-supported application.
Advertisements: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob uses your device's Advertising ID to serve relevant ads. You agree that we may display these ads in various formats, including banners, interstitials, and overlay screens.
Analytics and Stability: We utilize Google Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance) to monitor app stability, track usage metrics, and push remote configuration updates. Your use of the App is subject to the data processing practices outlined in our Privacy Policy.
5. User Responsibilities and Data Backup
Local Management: You are solely responsible for the media files you modify, move, copy, or delete using our integrated tools.
Data Backup: The App modifies files locally on your device and does not provide cloud backup or synchronization. It is your sole responsibility to maintain independent backups of your important photos and videos. We are not responsible for any accidental deletion, file corruption, or loss of data.
Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, to reverse-engineer the App, or to attempt to extract the source code or third-party SDKs integrated within the App.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, design, graphics, user interfaces, and source code within Gallery: Photo & Video (excluding third-party open-source libraries like Glide, Media3, and Room) are the intellectual property of the App's developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without explicit permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Gallery: Photo & Video is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be free of bugs, malware, errors, or interruptions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of the App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. This includes, but is not limited to, liability for loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from the conduct of third parties.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the App or your access to it at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may terminate this agreement at any time by permanently deleting Gallery: Photo & Video from your device.
